  Terrible at scheduling their own appointments. I have had double booked appointments, canceled appointments, and appointments scheduled completely outside of their own office hours. Clearly our business is not important to this location.

  I went to Aspen a few times over a few years and at first it was fine. Most of the staff was friendly, with a few bad-apples, but it was usually pleasant. I have had very long wait times, 30-45 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start. I would like to be able to schedule my dentist appointment with my teeth cleaning, but this is often impossible and I find this to be very inconvenient. When I get my bill estimate, they always manage to find everything wrong with my mouth and things that haven't happened yet but they want to work on (preventative care) so it doesn't get worse. I appreciate that they let me know what they recommend, but they never gave me options to treat, it was always "Please, do everything I ask." If you go here and get your estimate, don't be afraid to ask questions about every individual charge, and then consider what you don't think is necessary and talk with one of the billing people (the dentist are so busy I doubt you will be able to talk with any of them about it). I have had a lot of trouble recently with my insurance not covering a certain small procedure. It was over site on my part initially, but Aspen said they would figure it out and that I would not have to pay the full price, my insurance WILL cover their usual portion. I later received a bill for the full price and have had to call Aspen at least 5 times, repeatedly being told not to worry about the bill, they will figure it out, only to be told during the final phone call that my insurance will not be covering any of the cost. I was lied to. I would not have had the procedure done at that time if they would have let me know my insurance was not going to cover it. While they do have many pros and (overall) polite staff, I have had too many problems at Aspen to go back. Because they are some sort of chain/franchise and my own personal experience, it is obvious their main goal is to make money and they will do so by making the bill as long as possible and getting you laid back in their chairs before they can even confirm what your insurance can cover. I do not recommend them and advice you to immediately look elsewhere for a dentist and dental hygienist.

  BEWARE!!Scam,scam,scam.Took my son, they recommended and scheduled expensive cleaning procedure. I applied for financing. Cleaning was scheduled for next month. Went for second opinion to another dentist, was not necessary and regular cleaning was performed at 1/5th the price. Aspen charged $990.00 on my credit card the DAY OF THE $19 EXAMINATION for services not even scheduled for a month and ultimately never done!! Terrible mess, terrible company. Avoid at all costs- literally!!!!Did not want to leave any star!
