- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I have had 2 experiences with this particular office now. When I moved to town a couple of years ago a friend recommended them. I went in to get an auto insurance quote. The receptionist was not friendly and reluctantly got an agent for me. The agent looked at my current policy & basically told me there was no way they could beat it, without even running any numbers. He was unapologetic & impolite. I ended up shopping quotes again last year & Farmers offered the best. I signed up in another city with a friend's agent who was much nicer. I have now requested the same change to my policy three times & they have not complied (additional insured-not this office but another). I called the 800 number to request this change. They aren't able to make this change over the phone & suggested I call this Maynardville Pike location. The receptionist suggested I come in as I wanted to change something else that would require a signature but I could not so asked if I could just get the additional insured added. I was transferred to a lady, Krista. She had trouble pulling up my policy then said it was out of another location. I went through the speel of how it wasn't done correctly the first 2 times I requested it. She then got a snippy attitude & said that she requested it. She didn't say that I would be notified of the change or assure me that it would be fixed correctly as a customer service agent should. I will definitely be shopping my insurance around again this year. An office that is so limited as to not be able to make changes through a centralized office & that is also only open 9-5 M-F does not work in today's society. Also, customer service is number one & in my opinion this company rates about a 3/10.
